Summary

Donald Trump is upset after King Charles warmly welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Sandringham, making Trump’s own state visit invitation seem “less special.”

Trump’s allies allegedly asked the British government to intervene, but officials stated the king makes his own decisions.

Relations may also be strained by Trump’s criticism of Canada, where Charles remains head of state.

The U.K. government denied tensions, reaffirming strong U.S.-U.K. ties.

Trump should be glad: he's uniquely special because his special is the short bus kind.

That's so hilariously pathetic.

It's not for the bullshit reason he said, he's probably realizing his meeting with Zelenaky was a trap to make him look like a child who takes orders from Putin.

If he's not that self aware, he's just mad that other countries are supporting Ukraine and wants them to stop.

But just because trump says ______ is the reason he did something, doesn't mean its more than an excuse.

Goddamn, Trump is literally my entitled cat.

If I give my normal cat a treat, it's bad, because I didn't give one to the entitled cat.

If I give both cats a treat, it's bad, because I didn't give the entitled cat more.

If I give the entitled cat two treats, it's bad, because I also gave something to the normal cat.

The only difference here, is cats serve a purpose.

He’s such a fucking dick.

Remember when Trump behaved like a dick to his mother? I bet he remembers.

As much as Trump is a dick, I think this was more a case of his being unwilling or unable to read. I bet the staff that specializes in protocols for dealing with other world leaders did everything they could to tell him how this event was supposed to go, but he was too dumb to absorb the information, so he just fucked it up.

Cuckflake traitor bitch.

King Charles should welcome him to a dungeon under the Tower of London.

It's pretty interesting. The only people Trump respects are kings and dictators. You'd think that he wouldn't respect Chuck, who has almost no real power, only soft power. But, then you look at how he loves gilded things, and you can see that what he's aiming for is the jewels and gold of the monarchy. So, he looks up to Charlie. And, it's going to be really awkward when HRH reminds him that he's also the king of Canada.

For Chaz, this is an existential thing. Since WWII the crown has been progressively losing territories. Many former realms have become republics. But, Liz and then Chucky have managed to keep them in the commonwealth. Losing a territory over which he's still the actual king would be proof that he's really just a figurehead and the monarchy is obsolete. OTOH, if he could use his soft power to protect Canada, he could show some people that the monarchy is still relevant, and maybe keep some countries like Australia from swapping their monarchy for a republic.

Reminds me of this:

To you and me, yeah. To a guy who has a gilded toilet, Chuck's drip is something he aspires to but will never achieve.
