Rule 1: posts have the following requirements:

The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.
Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.
Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.
Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Oh yeah it was the Bush administration defining "Enemy Combatant" as any "adult male." As in "they looked adult enough to me," which when you contrast with evidence that young black men are viewed as older and less innocent to white Americans leaves one going "Ah, so any boy aged 14 and up, really." Because young men from Afghanistan and Iraq are surely brown enough to elicit the same feelings in the invading (mostly white) forces.
Worse, as evidenced in Collateral Murder, most of these decisions were being made from up-above and far-away either from attack planes and helicopters or drones. This meant if you were a young man who "looked" the right age from a blurry camera a half mile away and you were carrying something that "looked like" a weapon, they could rain hellfire down upon you with no consequences.
The irony is that the exact same people defending the Bush massaceres in Iraq are using the exact same arguments to defend the genocide in Gaza. "Most moral army, airstrike clearance" etc etc.

That's not irony, irony is something unexpected - those two behaviors are exactly consistent and congruent with one-another.

I have read several reports of Gazan boys being used as unarmed sentries and scouts by militants.

Death sentences for combatants are of course illegal and unacceptable, especially when underage.
That is crazy. Did you know every single Israeli is recruited in the IDF under conscription and many undergo training camps when underage? What are your thoughts on this?

Sure, the IDF takes in a few 17 year olds. I haven’t heard of anyone underage serving in combat though. I’m sure it happened during the war of independence and earlier at times though.
Hamas reportedly used minors in military roles in Gaza, mostly lookouts and such.
Military training for 15 year old teenagers is not the same as 17 year olds.
Israel is a state and can legally recruit 16 year olds and older. I’m not aware that Israel does this though. Hamas as a non state actor is only allowed 18 years and above.
The use of minors by Palestinian armed groups has been documented many times over the decades.
Have you ever talked to Palestinians? This isn’t even a secret. The youth culture, especially in refugee camps, is big on idolizing martyrs.
The most recent example of a terrorist group run by teenagers is Lion‘s Den in the West Bank.
Now, is every Palestinian teenager member of an armed group and fighting actively? Certainly not.
Wow reportedly Hamas uses scouts now instead of armed children. At least reportedly according to Jfeed? I guess that is why the IDF kills so many children. All those kids without weapons were actually on the lookout. Must be valid military targets.
