Europe is gay and Putin is anti-woke

It's because he's a massive cunt. It's been scientifically proven on multiple occasions. He also is a dirty little couchfucker. Don't believe a word he says.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Imo it was staged, like the meeting with Zelensky They dont care, there is no major plan, or intentions to make america better or whatever. They are following orders from other countries

He's a fascist, and is disgusted by European Social Democracy. This is why they're aligning the US with Russia, because they're a fellow fascist oligarchy.

It's really not that complicated.

Judging by the language and behaviour we've seen so far; I doubt it's at all sophisticated. 'Might is right' and the US should belittle and subjugate others because they can - it's their right and furthermore their duty to the American people! In other words, he's probably a straightforward imperialist.

I don't know the guy though so if anyone can add nuance to that I'd be glad to understand better. If his true feelings are benevolent towards Europe and he's 'merely' frustrated that they're not pulling their weight militarily, then he's got a ham-fisted and harmful way of showing it.

He probably can't grasp how much return the US was getting out of their geopolitical position. Same with the tariffs and humanitarian aid.

I've always been curious exactly how much the US benefited from their geopolitical position. I suspect it's a huge amount and I guess now we'll get to find out.

The amount of soft power the US uses globally is massive, too much and too complex for the current administration to grasp

They only see the primary effects: “we are losing money”

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Which is like saying “we are losing money to the grocery store…”

So their response is to stop eating… as if they don’t grasp it’s not LOSING money it BUYING influence.

I have to believe they get this and want to divert that money to their own profits while screaming “efficiency!”

Also they didn’t know that a massive amount of USAID operations are used as CIA covers. It’s a good way to get agents a legitimate reason to be in a country.

The USA national debt is a good proxy measure.

The world outside the USA needed us dollars for petroleum and international trade. One of the major us enterprises has been to supply these funds in exchange for goods and services.

It is currently running at $1T every 100 days.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/01/the-us-national-debt-is-rising-by-1-trillion-about-every-100-days.html

This means the world is selling more to the USA than equal exchange. They take those dollars away and buy oil and other international trade, or they hold the money. The us is being paid to create the currency that is used.

Frankly, the growing national debt is not as big a problem as the alternatives.

It's interesting that the budget of the American military includes social security and retirement plabs, while the europeans don't.

All signs point to yes.

It's a southern thing, it enrages them that the coasts respect European culture while considering them backwards hicks, and that europeans aren't devoutly Christian like southerners believe everyone should be.

The ruling class down there encourage this as an easily manufactured enemy to illustrate how evil a liberal atheist, moderately socialist culture is.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 3 days ago (2 children)

JD Vance is from Ohio, he's not a Southern.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 days ago

He is from the Cincinnati area, which borders Kentucky, and he spent some of his youth in Kentucky. Not a proper southerner, but from the gradient where North becomes South.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I know several people who never crossed mason dixine line with southern accents and confederate flags. Like live we near candian border. Wtf?

[–] [email protected] 18 points 3 days ago

Makes me laugh when I see the confederate flag in Pennsylvania, considering the Confederates invaded PA. Gettysburg is right fucking there and yet some still think it’s some cool rebel flag. Idiots.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 3 days ago

I live in Canada and have seen the Confederate flag greater than 0 times in Alberta. It's odd.

The North-South divide transformed into a rural-urban divide over the course of the 20th century, especially following the Civil Rights & Voting Rights Acts of 1964, and the subsequent Southern Strategy employed by the Nixon (and subsequent Republican) campaigns. The strategy appealed to southern whites, as well as whites in suburbia and rural communities, which a lot of the Midwest and heartland states are. On top of that, add-on the collapse of Midwestern industry, with the capitol flight being blamed on Democrat policy, and you get a severe cultural shift towards neo-Confederate sympathy.

Edit: I could've added a bunch more about the media industry, especially Fox and right-wing talk radio, but I can only waste time in the bathroom at work for so long before the boss notices.

Edit 2: fuck shit fuck also the Democrats sucked ass for a long time and culturally associated themselves with cultured, cosmopolitan urbanites, dropping the old-school working class blue-dog persona they had during the New Deal.

I can get being anti dem. I just don't get why they waving flag of slavers in northern states when their ancestors were immigrants after civil war or fought for north. Its the same energy as nazi flag in homes were grandpa killed nazis. Like wtf? Isn't the GOP/maga flag enough?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

Thing is, even devoutly Christians in Europe can't relate to their US equivalents. They're way different.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago

He's an arrogant cunt who thinks his country is bigger and richer so Europe should be kissing his ass because he has to kiss trump's (lets not forget that he hated Trump recently). The MAGAs have a persecution complex and he's what passes for an intellectual to hicks and MAGA. He probably showed himself up in Europe sometime trying his loudmouth pseudointellectual bully boy patter and got his arse smacked. Poor JD... I believe the word is butthurt.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 3 days ago

Could be that he just wants to be cool, one of the gang, saying what he thinks is cool right now. He is building his identity in the group.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

He reminds me Ben Shapiro

I think one of the core issues is that the heterosectional has the moral compass of a windsock
