"In short, America's plans in relation to Greenland are serious," President Putin said in an address to Russia's Arctic Forum in Murmansk.

"These plans have deep historical roots. And it's clear that the US will continue to systematically pursue its geo-strategic, military-political and economic interests in the Аrctic.

"As for Greenland this is a matter for two specific countries. It has nothing to do with us."

This is wild. Russia claims to feel threatened by Nato and then attacks Ukraine. But Americans in Greenland is not a threat to them?

This is all bollocks.

If you can’t leave social media, then at least follow something that bores you today. It will make you less addicted and their data less valuable.

Not a threat now that US and Russia are super tight atm.

Sure but counting on this as a forever state of the US is … risky.

Nato uses Greenland to monitor Russian submarines entering the north Atlantic. Trump taking Greenland means unfettered access.

Then it definitely has everything to do with putin and ruzzia

Yeah about that ... putin considers Alaska to still be Russian territory and wants it back ... so he whispered to agent Krasnov to take Greenland to balance it out so they both have more arctic mining possibilities again... "it is a fair deal".

This is also why Trump dreams he wants Canada as an extra state, to buffer against a Russian Alaska...

A more accurate headline would have been: "Serial liar lies".

"Russia has nothing to do with Greenland and US has nothing to do with Ukraine. Right comrade?"
