Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

He's triggered so it must be true

On the other hand, IIRC the board are all friends/family of his. That's why he got that ridiculous pay package he got sued over in Delaware court.

Musk is really good at alienating people, though.

Also, "Et tu, Brutè?" is a famous phrase for a reason.

Aww, did Elmo not get the memo about how Tesla are planning to DOGE his sorry ass? Did he only discover it via the media? Now he knows how all those federal employees feel! Not that he's capable of empathy or life lessons.

Keep in mind the Tesla board is filled with sycophants and close friends/family type of people. If they're looking and he didn't know, that's a pretty deep betrayal from his perspective.

To quote a genius billionaire regarding a time of immense hardship due to receiving abrupt bad news,

"CHAINSAW! YaAaAgHhH!"

I'm sure that somebody's heart goes out to him. He seems to have quite a bit of the Nat-C party standing behind him.

Stop, please, I can only get so erect

By “leaking” this info that they’re shopping for a new CEO, and even Elon’s denial, they’re just gaming the stock. Probably to give the wealthier holders a chance to recoup some of their losses.

The rich own the media. The media affects the markets. They’re playing with us like checkers pieces…

All of his friends: Yeah don't invite him to the party.

Musk: There was no party. I am well liked.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago (2 children)

All of his "friends": Didn't we force you out of PayPal too? For being an idiot trying to destroy the company.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

David Duke: Hey pal, I'm having a party! Wanna come over? 👻

Musk: 🤠 I am well liked.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

He did some shockingly stupid things at PayPal.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 week ago

I say let him stay on as CEO. He’s done a lovely job of running it straight into the ground.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They're actively looking to replace him....

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago

We know. Everyone knows. Now he does, too.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Looks like he's digging into his Copium supply. It's over for him.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago

Is “copium” an alternative spelling of “ketamine”?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

If the Tesla board ousts Musk, I still wouldn’t give them a single red cent. The fact remains that they have enabled Musk all this time.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

But does the board have the votes to ditch Musk? I thought Musk lackeys were the majority of the board, and Musk, being largest shareholder, could probably block the deal anyway.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

It's safe to assume the leaks are intentional. Whether he is replaced or not is surely something he's actively choosing, and even if he's replaced it doesn't mean he loses power.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 week ago

His stock manipulation game certainly has changed lately
