Proof that brain damage and right-wing are linked.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 5 days ago

It always involves paranoia, which leads to conspiracies, which fundamentalism of any religion is full of.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago

There already exists several NIH studies and even a meta analysis linking brain damage with conservative changes in political opinion.

i feel like the oncoming American Spring is about to show people like fett what it means to shit the bed in historical times. i still have hope, but this summer is going to be a hot one. hoping for some good music to come of it all.

"American Spring" hahaha that's a good one. We're going to continue to collectively sit on our asses riding the wave of fascism right into hell while eating Wendy's and playing Xbox.

You are.. you don't speak for us who are protesting

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Also, I can protest and play XBOX with Wendy's.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

Yeah! I can even get Cheeto fingers while I do both!

On Tuesday, Fetterman said that the New York magazine article was built on “one source” with “a couple anonymous sources,” describing it as a “hit piece from a very left publication.”

Countdown to Fetterman switching parties in 3 .... 2 ....

[–] [email protected] 11 points 4 days ago

Didn't he switch ages ago in all but name?

[–] [email protected] 34 points 5 days ago (1 children)

There is definitely something wrong with this guy. He is crashing hard.

TBIs can significantly change your personality. Having a stroke - especially a serious one - is essentially a TBI.

[–] [email protected] 25 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Can his district initiate a recall vote?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 5 days ago (1 children)

He's a senator, so it would be the state of Pennsylvania.

From my googling, there's no legal mechanism in Pennsylvania to recall an elected official. However, even if there was, recalling a member of the U.S. Congress would be unconstitutional.

The Senate would have to throw him out, and that's not likely as long as the Republicans benefit from having him there.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I think it should be up to the Democratic caucus then the State has to have a referendum on whether or not he stays.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

The state has no say in the matter. Neither does the Democratic caucus. The Constitution defines the circumstances under which a member of Congress could be removed. The only way to change that would be via an amendment to the Constitution.

Where's Luigi when you need him?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Remember how he was considered the sane and progressive choice because the media hid his racism, sexism, and classism, so they can blame a stroke instead?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

I caught on to his bullshit pretty quick when he came into the public eye - before his stroke. Is there a lot of evidence pointing to his past misconduct?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Some More News did a great job covering all his bullshit from before his Senate run. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28M_zkoAGQM

Fetterman never asked for this.

He wants to stand in his garage sipping a beer.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

Thats certainly who he pretends to be.

It feels more and more like the tv show BrainDead (2016) was a documentary. Shame more people didn't see it.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Great show!

It would make me feel better about humanity if it was the same reason as the show.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

Such a bummer that show got cancelled.

Completely forgot it existed until just now... Damn

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 days ago (2 children)

You know, wild, insane conspiracy theory, but maybe the mental breakdown is more than just aftereffects from the stroke.

What if some republican patsy at a three letter agency has some serious blackmail on him? He's a public figure, his actions easily scrutinized. As a senator his time, statements, and votes are public, and the government itself is doing the blackmail, so he can't turn to anyone. If he resigns they release the blackmail. The only way to not have the blackmail released is to fake these issues. Or maybe the pressure is actually breaking him, who knows.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 5 days ago

It's not that complex, he's always been a POS even before his stroke, the stroke just disinhibited him. Plus paranoia and paranoid delusions are symptoms of brain damage

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 days ago

Or maybe he's a democrat so this is who he was the whole fucking time.
