""The world is judging," Lammy said. "History will judge them [the #Israeli government]. Blocking aid, expanding the war, dismissing the concerns of your friends and partners. This is indefensible and it must stop.""

But we still sent a military transport plane full of who knows what to Tel Aviv and a spy plane over Gaza to supply intelligence to the Netanyahu regime.

Our politicians need to go to prison for their complicity and active participation.

I'm glad countries are finally saying something, but at the same time they kinda waited until the last minute. The western world sat idly by as innocent civilians have been being murdered on a daily basis for over a year and we should never let them forget that. And it wasn't just Israel trying to hide the truth.

Yeah let's complain that theyre pushing back!

Nothing is ever fucking good for keyboard warriors on the Internet.

Last time I checked the killing hasn't stopped, so it doesn't seem like the time to stop complaining just yet. Our politicians won't do anything unprofitable (like stepping on Israel's toes) unless we complain a lot.

That doesn't mean you can't acknowledge movement in the right direction.

Parent said they were glad countries are finally doing something.

And then bitched about it anyways

Yes, as they should. Acknowledge the progress in the right direction and keep bitching until the death stops.

I mean, the politicians basically waited until Israel almost brought out the bulldozers to clear the rubble, so any action against Israel won't really affect Gaza at this stage

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

And there's that too.

I literally said it was a good thing in my comment and I'm glad that governments are starting to call it out. But last time I checked people are still dying so it's not like it's suddenly over just because governments started doing the equivalent of a strongly worded letter. When people stop needlessly dying that's when I'll celebrate.

There's a difference between pushing back and killing thousands and thousands of innocent civilians.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago

It's the UK killing thousands and thousands of people?

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 month ago

About fucking time

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago

Still selling them guns though.

His Majesty's Government has upped the stakes from "wink & nod" by adding "serious finger wagging" and being a bit more discrete on the "wink & nod"!
