I remember the first porn site I ever went on.
It was whitehouse.com and I was looking for Whitehouse.gov.
It was in the school library too. On a beige crt monitor!
Life was simpler back then.
I remember back in 1998 in my Desktop Publishing class, a girl wanted to sign up for an email address. I told her to go to hotmail.com to create one. She typed in hotmale.com and got a whole different kind of website than she was expecting.
I think I was looking into renfair type stuff once and told my friend to go to chainmaile.com (long gone now) saying "that's 'mail' with an 'e'". He did not go to the right website.
the lawless years of the internet were beautiful, i experienced most of them when i was a child, and i turned out normal (that's a lie, of course, i'm unsure how watching happy tree friends or one man one jar at 12 years old fucked me up, but i'm sure it did, somehow)
I think there's an entire generation of us that thinks tubgirl, goatse (I remember reading the guy's story, or at least someone pretending to be that guy and writing the story), beheadings, and hatchet vs. genitals are completely normal experiences. Who didn't watch all those, right?
Seeing tubgirl, goatse, and meatspin put a temper on my curiosity to the point that I can say I've never seen two girls one cup, even though I think it was the most "popular" out of all of those except maybe goatse. Hearing the description was enough to sate any curiosity.
I also know that Rick rolls are wholesome because it replaced surprise links to those. Plus Rick Astley is a genuine treasure and I'm glad becoming a meme didn't end up hurting him.

Sure, but you weren't accessing those sites from a computer that fit in your pocket and that you carried around with you at all times.
Not at all, a magazine is basically a computer but with faster data access speeds while sacrificing some read/write capabilities.
Also, like Lemmy, video is not supported.
What do you mean by video not being supported on Lemmy?
Jokes aside, seems to be an issue with apps supporting it, because it does work on the web app which means Lemmy itself does support it.
It was a mp4 video and it displays fine for me, but heres a webm and tell me if you can watch this one

Good. Nothing wrong with porn or erotification of things that don't exist. We're just horny beings.
The worst is when you come across story spoilers for something in your backlog when you're browsing.
Everyone's minds are going straight to porn, but I have an explanation for this:
There is a lot of lore in OW; Blizzard has a ton of videos on YouTube that do a deep dive into it. Entire mini episodes of the stuff. My nieces and nephews (all under the age of 8) love every OW video Blizzard uploads. They didn't know there was a game, either. To them it's just another cartoon.
It's from porn and it's not even debatable.

Fake - Overwatch is first person so the brother wouldn’t immediately recognize the character being played if he was unfamiliar with the game and just entered the room

This actually happened to me with Jade from Beyond Good & Evil
Mine was loona from helluva boss. I wondered what the fuck this wolf thing that kept cropping up in random places was, then found the show and thought it was brilliant.

FPS game, you can't really see which character he was playing with
Overwatch pops into third person pretty frequently, and you can see them while picking a character.
The only time mercy pops into 3rd person is when doing an emote or receiving a team mate.

I think the OP is talking about himself. Kinda fucks you up when your first look at a cartoon or video game character is porn and then you see the real thing.
