Maybe Hamas should have spent some of that aid money on missile defense rather than keeping their billions to themselves in Qatar?

Israel invested in the Iron dome to protect their people from the thousands upon thousands of rockets Palestinians' have fired into Israel. Hamas says the people of Gaza are not their responsibility.

When Palestinians care about their children more than they hate Jews, they'll see peace. The cycle of violence ain't gonna stop until Hamas is gone, followed by the Israeli government as well.

Poll results were also hawkish when it came to the use of force in Gaza: 57.5% of Israeli Jews said that they believed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) were using too little firepower in Gaza, 36.6% said the IDF was using an appropriate amount of firepower, while just 1.8% said they believed the IDF was using too much fire power, while 4.2% said they weren’t sure whether it was using too much or too little firepower.

Do you realize what happened to the last leftist leader that tried to make peace with Palestine? The current president called him a Nazi and he was assassinated by a right extremist Israeli.

The people want to elect a leader, but no leader is willing to run because they know the consequence of doing so.

I’m saying that Hamas’ attacks would not have happened had Palestine not been colonized, its people displaced and massacred at every turn.

Displacement happened because Palestinians declared war on Israel and lost. Read up on the history of the massacres in mandatory Palestine, slaughtering of Jews was what started this conflict in earnest and made a one state solution impossible.

Palestinian Arabs were doing this shit long before any colonization happened, until that point the Jews were legally buying land.

We actually did it in the same way as Israel, we just spread our deaths out longer.

We aren’t perfect, far from it, so you should learn from our actions, instead of imitating them.

Just because Hamas is doing something bad, does not mean that Israel gets to as well.

If you are doing bad guy things, then you are a bad guy, just not the worst one.

Just don’t try to pretend you are the good guy at the same time.

If you are Jewish, know that we have no beef.

If you are Israeli, i understand your feelings, I just don’t agree with your countries actions.

I wish Passover would have been closer, I like the symbolism of people being protected to freedom more than a celebration of a violent revolt.

I always hear those highly moral people saying that civilian casualties are too high - but I have yet to find ONE that can explain what Israel actually could do better while fighting an asymmetrical war against a terror organization that hides among civilians and fights in civilian clothing. Please - indulge me / us.

Short History excursion: The UN partitioned Palestine and therefore created Israel. Directly after this „act“ the UN dropped the whole issue like a hot potato and left Israel alone to deal with the Palestinians. It would have been the UNs job to deal with the Palestinians (not just by creating UNRWA), but they just didn’t. Israel had to do it - just to survive. Nothing the Israelis did was ever good enough for the UN - the UN just let the Israelis do the „dirty“ work FOR the UN and then criticized the shit out of Israel.

Personally I would have asked for a UN peacekeeping service.

I guess those ladies at the UN are some of the hate filled idiots I was talking about, but I will change it since I can not personally speak for all of them.

In the beginning they had my full support and sympathy, then they started killing all the kids as “collateral damage.”

If they don’t replace ok genocide supporting joe here in America, then I guess for the first time in my adult life I just won’t vote for president and just keep my mouth shut for the next 4 years.

My vote will not go towards celebrating genocide or genocide “lite”

As far as asymmetrical warfare goes, they have to pick between killing innocents and risking themselves.

Just like American cops, if you are too much of a coward to put your life on the line for innocents in a job that requires it, I will continue to judge you.

I will judge anyone who thinks that their life is more important any child’s life, short of another child.

Honestly, I judge the old people that the Israelis got back for not insisting that they stay and another child be set free.

There is a good chance that they had no option though, so I can’t hold it against them too much.

That is in the West Bank, not gaza, and is its own can of worms.

Plus colonizing is a very loaded term that I am not comfortable using at this point.
