Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

He seems so much weaker this go around.

Great to see.

[–] MxM111@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (4 children)

Biden is weaker too (simply because of age). So it is not clear who will win.

[–] Varyk@sh.itjust.works 42 points 1 year ago (3 children)

It isn't clear who will win because it's a democracy.

It's very clear who should win.

Age? trump is barely a few years younger, looks horrific and literally can't speak properly.

trump's a rapist who directly committed election fraud multiple times

Biden has passed a lot(a LOT) of truly good civil and environmental legislation in three years that has benefited millions of people and advanced civil rights.

No comparison.

Well Trump correctly identified a whale on his last cognitive assessment. Sooo, samesies?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 24 points 1 year ago (2 children)

What I love is that he thinks that means he's smart.

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It’s honestly hilarious that he bragged about how hard the cognitive test was, and then, like, all of the psychiatrists came out of the woodwork saying “Bro it’s literally designed to be an absolutely trivial test for a person with relatively normal cognitive function. If you think it’s hard, that’s a problem.”

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

It's not even the kind of test you can pass or fail. It's a diagnostic test. It's like bragging about the results of being able to read an eye chart to the sixth line.

You're not wrong really. I'm voting Biden but it's quite clear that his age is a larger concern for voters than it is for Trump despite Trump having obvious cognitive deficits just the same.

Jon Stewart covered this pretty well and for good reason.

[–] GladiusB@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

What the hell are you talking about. He owned the right with his dark brannon ad and he is actually doing things in the end of his term. Go ask grandma before you get to use the Internet again.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 44 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's a surprise, I thought no matter what he'd get the support and endorsement of the Na-

Oh, it says "Mazi", my mistake.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 27 points 1 year ago

On the one hand, Mazi is both black and Jewish, so that could be taken as pretty offensive.

On the other hand, she very proudly served in the IDF and is fanatically pro-Israel, so maybe that's more accurate than she would care to admit.

Dear Mr. Trump, if you want to be loved, please announce that you are stepping down from politics, social media, any possition of power you have, and are retiering forever.

If you want to be extra loved, please donate enough money to a charity called something like "Trump recovery", so that it can build recovery centers all over MAGA/Q areas where people can be rehabilitated from the Trump campaign nonsense by experts, you can't have any control over it. If you do this you can truly make america great again.

[–] orclev@lemmy.world 23 points 1 year ago (1 children)

See, the thing is, Trump has a really stunted vocabulary, so while he said "I want to be loved", what he meant was "I want to be worshipped".

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think he just forgot the word "daddy" at the end

Considering how previous Trump "charities" have been run, that might not be the best plan.

That's where the "you can't have any control over this" bit comes in.

[–] IchNichtenLichten@lemmy.world 21 points 1 year ago (7 children)

One day soon this malignant tumor of a man will drop dead. We need to plan accordingly.

Moët or Dom Perignon?

[–] IphtashuFitz@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

Please let him spend at least one day behind bars before that happens.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Which has a bigger bottle? Which bottle is bigger is important. That means more to piss on his grave.

[–] Krackalot@discuss.tchncs.de 7 points 1 year ago

I'll just eat so much taco bell that I'll be pissing out of my ass on to his grave.

[–] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

There better be some fuckin fireworks.

[–] nova_ad_vitum@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You can drink what you want but if he dies before seeing the inside of the jail cell then the US will never come back from this. The next one to capture his lunatic base won't be as impulsive, undisciplined, or ignorant.

I wish this guy would get in a submarine

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I say we put him, Musk and Bezos in a rocket and send them to Mars. If the ship doesn't make it, oh well. If it does, they can stay there.

[–] DigitalTraveler42@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fuck sending it to Mars, the sun looks good for them.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yeah, but if you tell Elon it's Mars, maybe you can lure him into the rocket without kidnapping him.

[–] PlasticExistence@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm not seeing the fun in that

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Less fun, but not as difficult.

[–] PlasticExistence@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Hmm, yes. Higher chance of success. Logic takes away all the joy, but is successful in the long term. I think I understand Vulkans now.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 year ago

I still can't get over his quote from October about immigrants "poisoning the blood of our country" the man sounds more like Hitler than Hitler.

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

I am so very sick of these utterly worthless republican parasitic traitors. Fucking launch them all into the sun.

[–] Gingerlegs@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Wonder who does his makeup

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't know, but they're being overpaid.

[–] HWK_290@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago
[–] harmsy@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

So do I, but I'm not about to throw any tantrums over it.
