That was a great, honest vid. I subscribed. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe the rigged casinos they call capital markets have been a plague upon mankind and need to be a lot more than occupied.

Maybe letting people accrue more currency aka power than they need to live in exchange for no labor has doomed our society and our species.

Maybe those retirement accounts that make up a small fraction of the value of the market were just a Trojan horse to get laborers to allow murder for private profit, homelessness for private profit, academic economic segregation for profit, destruction of the commons for profit...

AOC/Sanders aren't even that leftwing.

It's just an optical illusion looking at them from inside the burgeoning fourth Reich of Stupid Hitler's crazy town.

We haven't had a vote on the shape or priorities of our economy since 1980. This is an economic dictatorship, and has been longer than most of us here have been alive.

We just get a vote on how/if to address the social wedge symptoms that economy either causes or exacerbates.

And only IF addressing them won't meaningfully harm quarterly earnings expectations for our sociopath class. Example: you know what would drastically reduce the number of abortions without any kind of ban? A living wage that can support a family. But that would cut into corporate metastasis and is therefore a non-starter by either party in anything more than rhetoric.

You can have scapegoating(R) or affirmation ribbons(D), so long as you vote for for profit prisons, legal murder for profit, millions of Americans dying of exposure on the streets, crumbling commons, public education in utter ruin.... Freedom!

"Hey, I saw someone doing something illegal to a capitalist!"

No you fucking didn't.

Trump is just the Result of Reagan's transformation of American politics and culture to greed first and only.

Trump is a vulture picking this nation's corpse clean. Ronald Reagan and Jack Welch killed us half a century ago.

I went to one of the conservative drone echo chambers and their big line on this is "What grounds does she have to claim asylum in Canada?! She should be sent to Gaza to die!"

No point trying to reply in those spaces, they're all too far gone, but I want to reply "what grounds? The grounds that Canada hasn't abandoned their basic humanity or decency in exchange for nothing, as we Americans have."

This has all been theater for a long time.

Our owners just don't care to pretend otherwise anymore, because they no longer need to. They're even starting to cut out the former "opposition" party they got on the take in the 80s to accomplish this coup.

Welcome to the party most have willfully ignored, hoping to be a big winnah in a sea of exploited losers.

Sad most just want to back this off to the neoliberal policies that set the table for this and call that victory, when we need a new framework, something between the New deal and Norway. Unless we socially enfranchise our society from the bottom up with tangible, economic support, and start judging the health of our society by our worst off members, we'd meet right back here after another 10-15 years of the well bribed good cop party(D) being just dandy with murder for profit health insurance schemes and our most betrayed neighbors dying under our crumbling freeways.

Centimillionaire and proud neoliberal Nancy Pelosi spent the months before Trump took power safeguarding the levers of Congressional power... From AOC.

This constitution has failed. It failed decades ago, but few were willing to acknowledge the ugly truth. If you don't accept that as a starting point if you're American, you're still digging.

We turned the bull loose as the slogan said.

What do bulls do to people?

What an embarrassing way to go extinct.

Sometimes I tell myself this must be one of those "great filters," then I just can't believe that it's common for a species capable of terraforming their world would be dumb enough to do it in reverse eyes wide open, like crawling towards a cliff shouting "nooooooooo!"

I can't picture the future dolphin people doing it.

This capitalist coup started under Reagan. Trump has been courted by Putin since the 90s.

If people realized how serious this shit was, Wall Street and the capital markets would have been righteously burned to cinder years ago.

Instead they laughed at those protesting it, I was there.

We're hopeless. We'll be breathing capitalist climate change made dustbowl fumes, drinking unregulated leaded water, and still showing up to our jobs running up the owners' ego scores even as said owners retreat to their luxury bunker complexes to bark their orders remotely in an attempt to pretend everything is fine.

We're a pathetic people. Not entirely our fault, the capitalists have been sabotaging public Ed to keep us stupid, willfully ignorant, largely hostile towards critical thinking, and cut their taxes for a century, but we are a pathetic people.

Now the French, There's a model of how a society needs to act when their greed class gets out of line.

Millions of Americans across the country are on alert for a severe weather outbreak with violent, long-track tornadoes with damaging winds of up to 80 mph and large hail.

They aren't the primary villains, but they're sure as shit the bumbling secondary antagonists.

I phone banked on two Sanders campaigns. This didn't start with Trump or even in most of our lifetimes. Both parties, and yes most voters of both of them, would rather set the country on fire than have anything resembling economic equity or someone having their basic needs met without a subjective judgement of "deserving" it. We could have ended homelessness inexpensively at any time under any administration, we could have made prison rehabilitative, it would have literally saved the country money to invest in both, yet I've heard more Democrats and Republicans speak of such desperate populations as the problem instead of the society that put them there.

This collapse was a choice we made over and over again.

Money can't buy happiness, but Elon sure did buy a lot of hair plugs.

Turns out, when the elite of society works against their own people to enrich themselves, the (rational) people realize they owe you neither trust or allegiance. Can't have it both ways.

Nothing wrong with a little competition, amirite?

Sociopath greedy fucks fucked by their own sociopathic greed pushing tech explicitly hyped to cause mass unemployment. You first, finance bros! Welcome to the "capitalist efficiency" games you were so fond of running 🤣

Turns out you made a career out of felating oligarch dick, expecting romance, but they'd rather keep your class traitor salary and kick you to the curb. Guess you chose to keep poor company.

In light of Vivek's comments that Americans don't pursue excellence, pursue excellence at reducing GDP through workplace laziness and negligence(that causes loss, not injury), anticonsumerism, and reminding others that products/services used to be better so why bother buying them new now?

"won't that effect my quality of life?"

They've been steadily reducing your quality of life, forcing 2 incomes for survival, and are literally conning and murdering you through health insurance and food safety abandonment.

Make Greed Contemptible Again.

Or they'll blame you for roping them into this exploitative shitshow with a side of climate apocalypse, and they'll be correct.
