Elected to the office of the President

If you are looking for a loophole, I think there is an argument to be made that if he is elected to the office of the vice president and the president steps down, that would allow a “3rd term”.

I would love to be wrong, but I wouldn’t be shocked if that is the play.

Edit: dhork points out the 12th amendment should block this.

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

The Constitution leaves the matter of election of electors to the states.

It doesn’t! The shell is part of the turtle, they can’t leave their shell like a hermit crab.

Children are told that they MUST go to college to get a stable and high paying job. This is so prevalent that college degrees are just seen as “the next step after high school” and nobody questions it. These colleges have figured out they can charge almost anything because they are seen as the gate keepers to high paying and stable jobs. So banking on future earnings, bearly emancipated teenagers, with the absolute minimum of a financial education, make life decisions that will put them in debt for the next 20-30 years.

The problem with the whole system is there doesn’t appear to be enough high paying and stable jobs.

As far as going to a cheaper college, I think you identified the issue in your very own comment. Schools have different prestige levels. Yale, for example, is a high prestige school and not only are you paying for an education, you are also paying to connect to rich people. These connections can be worth a lot of money if they are used correctly. So going to a cheaper college also means less valuable connections.

Insert Star Wars meme.

That’s not entirely true. Texas seems to have a problem with people leaving for various services and it’s a federal crime to transport certain flora between states, even if it is fine in both states.

The AMC theater experience in my area is so poor that I strictly avoid it. Between no assigned seats, the old style fold down seats, sticking to floor as you walk, other patrons talking/being on their phone/using their phone flashlight during the movie, and the 30 minutes of pre-show ads, it just doesn’t make sense to spend money on it.

If I do want to see a movie in theaters, I drive to the non-AMC theater that is 45 minutes away since it is just a much better experience and higher quality at a lower price.

Security Theater.

About to jump planets, what should I be taking along? Also is there anything I should make sure is done on the OG planet before leaving for a bit?

Love the app and love the work you are doing on it! Thanks a bunch! I am running into one minor issue:

Right now if you block a community, then search for the community, it shows, but it will appear that there are no post in the community.

Ideally, if I am accessing a community from the search, even if I have blocked it, I would still like to see the post in it rather than having to unblock it.

For example, I almost exclusively use “All” and “Home”, in “All” political subreddits can get over bearing so I blocked it, but when I want to go look at the community in light of recent events, they all show as blank.

Ideally I would love a warning on the search page that I have blocked the community, but clicking into it will still show me all the post of the community.
