Have you been to a Walmart, especially late at night? That's a pretty accurate description.

This assumes he intends to have another election. Remember when he said they'd never have to vote again?

Or he could just go home.

Keep in mind how the US tends to split when voting. Both sides of the country tend to separate from the middle, where land votes.

I'd bet you can get 10 consecutive states from Canada on both sides through Washington/Oregon/Cali and New England down the coast a bit.

There are two kinds of people that think our healthcare system in the US is great.

  1. The rich who can just pay for whatever they need.

  2. Those that never utilize the system at all in any form beyond maybe basic checkups.

Absolutely anyone else can tell you the entire thing is a shit show. Especially those that work within the system. There will always be some living in denial, just like there were pro-COVID nurses and doctors, but the vast majority will tell you the system is broken by design.

I still don't understand what the possible motivation for this is. Most of the other actions are clearly tied to Russian interests or general interference and destruction of US power.

Going after Greenland doesn't really assist either of those goals. The only thing I can think is trying to get the US into its own Ukraine situation, which I guess makes sense on some level to someone, somewhere.

Depends on the religion. But as a whole, what we thing of "religions", are definitely a net negative with our knowledge of the world. We no longer need to rely on superstition to survive.

Some religions are more a way of life rather than a structured creator being system with strict rules and exclusionary politics. Religions like Christianity/Judaism/Islam are quite different from Shinto or Buddhism for instance.

No one told him because there was no point. They know he doesn't give a shit. He's said as much before. It would have been a waste of time and energy to tell him. And he's the kind of guy that would have fired them for wasting his time.

Literally a net negative for everyone to bother letting the current President of the United States know what is going on.

Let's get that full quoted sentence instead of the two worda out of context that let you post the link you wanted.

And if we look at nature in general, non-monogamous breeding across all species is the most common.

Didn't even need the whole sentence, just the word before those... "Across all species".

There's kind of my point. It is a societal construct, one largely tied to religion and thus easily mapped to religious expansion across the globe.

"Normal" for things like this is meaningless, because it is entirely based in arbitrary beliefs, not anything inherent in being human. It is based entirely on fake limits we've imposed on ourselves as a culture, nothing more.

This is really only "abnormal" in a traditional, Christianity-based modern societal culture, and that's nowhere near the entire world.

I think the fact you have to point out that we're the only species that has developed drugs, in order to exclude every other species kind of proves it though.

By what definition of "normal"? Polygamy is a central part of several religions for instance. And if we look at nature in general, non-monogamous breeding across all species is the most common.

NASA and Boeing officials pushed back Friday on headlines that the commercial Starliner crew capsule is stranded at the International Space Station but said they need more time to analyze data before formally clearing the spacecraft for undocking and reentry.

When in Summit settings, searching for "mu" causes an immediate app crash to home screen as soon as the U is typed. No option to report issues or submit feedback.

Only have this device to test at the moment, but I can get it to do it every time.
