I had never heard of the (frankly horrible) band "Train" until recently.

A colleague pronounces it "Postgré"

Nice writeup, thanks for sharing. How long did it take you to get back to normal typing speed? Did you practice? Qwerty layout, or did you change that as well?

Either https://musicforprogramming.net/ , some vaporwave, some really extreme/cavernous death metal or noise rock. Free jazz. Possibly some instrumental kraut rock if I feel like it, the motorik beat is great for focus.

True, true. I am very close to getting a Voyager for that use case, and for experimenting with different switches, etc, since its easier. I also think the QMK-based configuration the Glove uses is more powerful than the Voyager's system, but harder to use.

Yep, that's true.

The case came with the Glove80, in fact it was shipped inside it.

The Voyager in its case (including a trackpad) is about ¼ the size of a Glove80 case. Personally I think the Glove80 makes up for it in its ergonomics, but it does take up most of my backpack when commuting to the office.

Don't eat fast food, make your own.

It's a heavy duty Fiskars, all steel.

Tiberius slaps Fisherman around a bit with a large trout.

Got my trackball today.

I was out running last night and I came back after the kid had fallen asleep, so I needed to wait until this morning. It only takes an hour, so I can hang the clothes to dry before going to the office.

I'm going to read my book for a bit.

So I recently got an e-reader and have started collecting e-books for it, but a lot of books seem to only be available through Amazon/Kindle. I don't want anything to do with that company. Where do I even start looking? I have my local library apps and have scoured Project Gutenberg and some similar sites. While this is great for classics and older stuff, I want newer books too, specifically science fiction and fantasy. Have looked at author's websites but they typically link to Amazon or physical copies.
