I'll have to run some tests because I'm not sure if its qbitorrent or my headphones but its probably the headphones because the previous wire i was using for them was not in the best of shape and was falling apart

id also occasionally get audio glitches on it which was also probably the bad headphone wire which also makes me think it was the headphones

im using a new wire now and i'll see if anything happens

I seem to have random BSOD's that seem to suggest memory errors but windows memory diagnostics, memtest86 and memtest86+ all passed with no errors

the BSOD's seemed to be more frequent with memory context restore enabled in the bios and i have since disabled it and the bsods are less frequent

i think the memory context restore was a separate issue that caused the same kind of memory related BSOD's

but now i still do occasionally get BSOD's

event viewer has the following trail each time the BSOD happens

it may also be related to qbittorrent as both times I've witnessed it happening i had qbittorrent open downloading

With Nirsoft DevManView and device manager with the devices by container view I've narrowed it down to "HID-compliant headset" under my heaphones (which are senheiser PXC 550-II if thats relevant)

I have disabled "HID-compliant headset" for now to see if that fixes it but have to wait and see

Yes it was English but I don't remember the year I saw it unfortunately

I remember from the movie some type of traditional building from asian culture where they had a zen garden with sand and theese stacked rocks that had bits of yellow/orange glow in them and one night they are either vandalised or attacked and vandalised and the stacked glowing rocks where toppled over

The movie was 3D animated

Lazy devs not removing old non functional commented code and background code additions ?

Though I do get it if they don't want to remove the old code if their employer is an asshole

FUCK OFF WITH THE RACIST SLUR

Looking for a French recipe site by a French person to cook Aligot, I don't trust non local person sites because some of them can alter recipes to the point where it won't actually be the dish

Site must be:

  • In English
  • Use Metric

I've seen guides for Canada and the EU to boycot american stuff but do we have any of that here in Aus

Thought I'd ask this because I want to discover more foods from across the world

(Also I shouldn't have to say this to americans, please state where you are from and state where you are from without acronyms or shortened names because I've seen US Defaultism on lemmy and not all of us are going to know your acronyms considering we're global users)

Asking because I have a HDR monitor but an SDR drawing tablet

I'd like for the image to be displayed in SDR on the drawing tablet and HDR on the HDR monitor

Also is it possible to export an SDR version of a HDR image

Yesterday I applied myself on a later season with a clip involving the prophets and pah wraiths

So far I've been watching through season 1 as this is my first watch of DS9

I've come to realise that I don't like the entire prophet and pah wraith plotline because it feels like this overarching plot that takes away from everything else DS9 is and it ruined the show for me

I'd like to try continue watching but by skipping over the whole prophet & pah wraith plotline

Is it possible, is there some sort of guide out there to skip the prophet / pah wraith plotline ?

What are some good recomendations?
