Sure glad we didn't elect Kamala.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, not voting really helped keep the baddies out of the White House!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

The important thing in this election is that we owned the libs and taught those Democrats a lesson they won't forget!

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yep. And I'm going to keep saying it and just ignore the people that do their nonsense WELLAXETUALLYYYY.... stuff, because if they think for one second that them sticking with their bullshit after the election is going to do sweetfuckall I'm going to tell them just where to stick it when they are lecturing about what the Democrats should have done, or what they should do (in the future elections we probably won't have), or how pointing out how damaging their actions were is "unhelpful", etc...

They haven't learned a fucking thing yet.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (7 children)

If you'd listened to them about what the Dems should have done, Harris would be president right now. BlueMaga haven't learned a thing since 2016.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

"What the democrats should have done" was something to discuss during the primaries.

After that it was either directly voting for a fascist or allowing a fascist to come to power through inaction or even outright telling people to not stop the fascist.

You do not vote for people in a two-party first past the post system after a primary, you vote against.

And it's amazing people do not understand such a basic concept. But I guess that's why we have Trump now.

Nah the leftists would have just found something else to get their panties in a knot about.

One thing they teach us liberals repeatedly is to not court them because they won’t show up when it counts.

Well, the administration Harris was VP of was already ethnically cleansing Gaza, so on this particular issue - and no others - the difference is slight.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

It's a damn good thing there were zero other important issues then, else a lot of people will look really stupid right now.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Well if you read the conversation rather than just jumping in, you'd know it was about Gaza specifically.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Yep, the only major issue we have.

the difference is slight.

Oh I'm sure that'll be great comfort to Palestinians.

What a fucking joke. Why even pretend that you ever gave a shit about these people?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You know Trump wants to build casinos and such over the graves in Gaza right? I mean, that's some evil shit.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Yeah I know, I wasn't saying Trump wasn't evil. What gave you that impression?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

How many Palestinians have you talked to about this difference being slight? Do you think they agree? Do you even care what they think?

"THIS IS NOT WAR. THIS IS PEST CONTROL!" -- ~~Dalek Supreme~~ Donald J. Trump

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That seems like a super un-Dalek-like thing to say

Anyone who actually bought into the notion that donvict is "antiwar" is deeply stupid.

People were telling me that in his first term while he was drone bombing people.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Many, many Americans are deeply stupid.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Is it really war when you can just steamroll right over the people and kill them all?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

More like genocide.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 months ago

Trump was never anti-war and anyone who thought so is fucking dumb. Done mincing words.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

All that for just 40km of coastline access, so couple of filthy old dudes can get even richer.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

This is just the start, and will likely involve the West bank next. After that, it's likely that Israel will attempt expanding into its neighbors.

And it's not just to get some old dudes even richer - it's also to further crush the ability of the middle east to rebel or obtain meaningful autonomy.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Where is that independent clown Claudia championing her compassion for the poor treatment of Palestinians when we need her.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Gone for 4 years like Jill Stein.

Who could have predicted this?!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (2 children)

It’s all bullshit like the tariffs with Mexico and Canada. He’ll talk about America annexing Gaza while everyone gets outraged, then “do a deal” with Netanyahu where Israel takes over, maybe with a side deal with another country to assist. Saudi Arabia, probably. Less forced relocation than before, etc.

The thing they planned on doing anyway will look better than Trump’s idiotic, headline-grabbing fake idea. And the press, Dems, and general public will continue to fall for this trick every single time for the next 4 years.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Agreed. I would not be surprised if this is to create cover for what fElon and his douchebro minions are doing when it comes to gutting our government.

Saw a LOT of coverage of this unhinged statement about Gaza; not as much about the protests or what fElon is doing.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Maybe. Where I originally thought you were going is the firehose of falsehoods used to cover up Elon’s coup.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago

Yeah, that’s certainly a part of it too. It’s a giant, bullshit circus spinning around Trump.

There’s also a possibility that it’s a shock and awe campaign to get people scared enough to accept new “stability” laws that restore “law and order.”

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Trump is at war with the American people. He was in his first term as well. The "antiwar" thing has always been bullshit. He's murderous scum.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

Trump wants Canada to be the "51st" state, the Panama Canal, and Greenland. That so called day 1 end the Russian/Ukraine war? He will extend military aid if Ukraine supplies rare metals. Plus his actions are quickly leading to the next American civil war. How is this "antiwar"?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

When you state wild shit. Less wild shit seems less wild.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

If you fling enough shit at the wall some of it will stick. Guy is proper unhinged.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Ethnic cleansing is a lesser war crime than genocide. We already know he supports the ongoing genocide.
