Had to upgrade my PC to the absolute best when w2 came out, then when w3 came out, and recently with cp2077...seems like w4 will be the next time. Damn this hobby blows....

If you can't get it to run at speed with low settings in a closed environment, what's the PC release going to look like?

Maybe tone down the unnecessary graphics.

I'm fine with not being able to see every single pore on a character's face.

If you can't see all the pores at 8k then how will Nvidia keep making $3k GPUs that require so much power their cables melt?

It's like the recent update for one of the Horizon games. You can see the down on her cheeks. There's no reason for that in a practical sense.

Down on her cheeks? You mean the little skin hairs?

The reason is it looks dope. Nothing about bidet games are "practical" other than the dopamine hit we get from playing them.

Either a bit of fun in private, or a very funny autocorrect. I'll let you decide.

I'd imagine it's even harder since it's not their own engine this time around. With an in-house engine you get a team that knows the engine inside and out and can help squeeze out performance. Using Unreal Engine comes with a lot of tools that can make the art side easier so it seems like you're saving time/money, but optimisation is arguably harder because you don't have the same kind of internal expertise to optimise throughout production. I'm sure a studio their size can get some help from Epic, but that's going to come with it's own drawbacks.
