Blue Whales

My mother paints herself blue and makes whale sounds during mating season.
She's quite popular at her local.
Does this mean blue whales are on the way out, given the lower amount of krill in the oceans nowadays, or have they just stabilized at a lower population? I imagine human whaling practices have muddied the data, but I'm ignorant as to the extent.
I don't know what the projections are but seems like populations are growing/stable

We are still in said ice age. Our human time scales have a hard time reconciling this, but we are in one of the "warmer" parts of the current ice age.
For those wondering, it's an ice age because both poles are ice bound. We're working on it though.
Imagine if industrialisation happened during a warm time, even now on the edge of an ice age we have hit all time records for heat and tripped tipping points that have been stable since the last interglacial. We'd already been screwed if we had been in a warmer period, as it is we're just sure to be screwed without some new technology
We have all the technology we need.

Hell, when I was that age, I've have been totally into it, someone that passionate about something. Given, it would have gotten old in a couple months...

Yes, a TV show character who is obsessed with whales, and talks about them non-stop when allowed.
(The plot of the show is that she's Korea's first autistic attorney. The title is "Extraordinary Attorney Woo")
I watched a couple of episodes of that show but I think some of the whales in the whale clips might be the wrong species?
I wouldn't be surprised. I'd guess a lot of the law stuff is either wrong or super obvious also. But I did like the show
I prefer Dr. Joy Reidenberg. Here's a good documentary with her doing a necropsy on a whale.
