Elon still thinks of himself as a disaffected youth because it was probably the only time in his life he ever had any friends. Surrounded by sycophants they just reinforce what ever elon thinks cause they don't give a shit about him only that their checks get signed.

He is the quintessential elitist who has never had real struggles, nor had any really meaningful life experiences.
I'm sure he was tolerated by some dweebs Lan party for some time until they got sick of him. Sure every single one of them will talk about how much of a dick he was and not sure whose friend he was anyway. For leon though, that was his hay day and everyone thought he was hilarious.

I just watched Glass Onion and when Benoit Blanc announced frustrated that Miles Bron, the billionaire in the movie, is not some cryptic genius but rather an overrated idiot, I strongly felt that he must've been inspired by Elon Musk.
The creators have had to reiterate that Miles Bron was not inspired by Musk and the semblance was a "horrible accident" lol

His act kinda resembles a guy who would have had a burnout, but keeps going with amphetamine. Not sleeping at nights, unable to concentrate, arbitrary snap decisions, slowly loosing sanity, illusions of grandeur, common ideological ground with Trump, etc. Decade of that and he'll be Trump.

Born outside the USA, so Elon can't run for president.
Not yet, but he's already eyeing a role in government. Wouldn't surprise me if he eventually manipulated Trump into creating a special class of immigrant citizens who receive naturalization because of "service to the nation" granted by the president or some such.
