Question is probably too late and I'm not much of a stockpiler, this is more for curiosity of what others are thinking about

I know for me, the Kirkland brand whiskey is surprisingly good and also Canadian so I may go today and pick up a bottle (or at least check the price)

Cars and car parts, electronics, and clothes look to be the top 3.

From AP article

Fuck! I knew I should have stocked up on bauxite!

I'm kicking myself for not loading up on "other meat"

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

RFK will ensure there is no shortage of "other meat" 😧

Well if you're running an aluminum foundry, you really should have planned for this.

Avocados and tomatoes are sadly not stockpilable.

Please I bet most grocery store prices rise as of today due to them. Lot of business will take advantage of this. Raise prices blame the tariffs even though said products were bought and put in stock before they went into effect. Allows maximize profits.

I mean I can't stockpile them. Because the whole point is eating them fresh.

Clearly Canadian

fucking hate elections

every four years we lose more rights or have less one way or another or our pay goes a little less every four years and it does not matter if Democrats or Republicans are in citizens are always losing something

only difference with Trump is the band aid is ripped off all at once instead over the course of four years

Right, both sides are the same! Best to just give up!

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Goddamn right both sides

Best to pull a Martin Luther King Jr and fucking march on Washington DC in droves instead of dealing with more in fours years

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

If you march on DC without a goose-step, they'll turn it into the bataan death march.

Do you really think this is as bad as it's going to get?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago

Even when you catastrophise you accidentally reveal that your personal stake in elections is small. As you admit, your going to do about the same either way.

What people like you can't tolerate is loosing, you hate the Democrats because they failed you. And as for the people who have a big stake in Republican vs. Democrat? Did you ever care about that?

Bull-ass-shit

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 month ago

Too late for some things. Some retailers have already marked prices up since they will pay more to replenish their inventory.

Stock up on maple syrup and natural gas.
