With enough alcohol I could be convinced to wear a kilt for about 5 minutes. Short of that I will literally fight you over wearing a skirt. Long skirts made for men are usually less problematic, if someone considers trying. They give like a goth or alternative vibe.

This has been my attitude for some time.
I hate skirts and dresses though. But I do try my best not to wear hard pants anymore. Pjs and leggings only.
Leggings are her compromise.
I got a bunch of preshrunk plain colored linen pants and shorts and they’re comfy as fuck, cool in the sweaty months and for my job at a bakery, and still look at least business casual (the long pants, not the shorts) even if they’re wrinkly.

My stretchy leggings do a great job of moving the moisture away from the place it's generated in. I don't know the science, I just know having leggings on is a lot better for my sweating than a skirt. And trust me, I love skirts.
The only leggings I have are quite thick and keep we warmer than I'd like. I tried on some thinner ones once and they behaved similarly but they didn't have pockets :(
As a guy who's worn a kilt once, I get it. I still wear pants all the time though.
