Transcript:

I've been a loyal Trump supporter since 2016.

I lost a job, friendships, been smeared online, doxxed, and pressed charges on people who've stalked and harassed me for supporting him.

If Trump doesn't want my support, because I care about the Epstein Files, then I'm done.

Bye.

Can't wait to see what stupid shit he latches on to next.

The part that chaps my ass about this is.... The damage is already done. Trump can not get voted in again. He's on his second term, of two max.

So all of this shit is too little too late. You fucked up. You fucked everything up. And now you realize the guy is a piece of shit because he won't release a list of rich people who are paedophiles and rapists? A list he's very likely to be on?

This is the line?

Holy shit. Of all the terrible stuff he said he would do, and all of the terrible stuff he actually has done..... And you fucks put him in the office again.

And this is the point where you finally stop supporting him?

The fear of pedophiles is higher than this guys racism/queerphobia? A win i guess. I welcome every person that stops to support Trump because there are still many who do.

Like i really god damn hope that this of all things is what breaks his neck. If there is a god, hear our prayer 🙏🙏 (cause i am somewhat doubtful)

It's such a bizarre hill to die on. I only wish I could hinge my entire political life on the gossip around some random celebrity pimp's murder.

Imagine losing a job and friendships to worship the star of NBC's The Apprentice.

Imagine thinking you are the victim because you supported trump.

I wonder how many of these people will put 2 and 2 together and question every other time Trump used the same blame the dems + shoot the messenger strategy.

It’s almost like he’s a corrupt piece of shit and this is literally his strategy for eve-ry-thing that makes him look bad.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 3 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

He's already back to tweeting shit about how Trump's bday letter to Epstein is fake. So they learned nothing.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

He realized he would lose revenue and recognition if he didn't swing back to Daddy. Morality is dead.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Literally we pointed to his career in real-estate where he consistently ripped off contractors when he was running the first time and people said. "Yeah that's my guy. The one that weasels out of honest deals" that's not a business man. That's a crook.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

They'll put 2 and 2 together and get whatever the GOP tells them. They don't think. They won't think. If Trump gets bad they'll dump him, but then go for the next one. I live in a red state where we voted in some worker rights, but people still had to vote for that R... and now that the workers rights are being taken away, the republicans are still mouthing the party line of "It's bad for business" even when they voted for it.

Almost certain I won’t. These people don’t have a very high capacity for self-awareness or self reflection. If going back to question everything Trump said only to see that he was lying the entire time, these people would have to admit that they had been duped and were wrong this entire time.

There’s anything that I’ve come to know, it’s that these people can never ever admit that they were wrong.

No, they formed some other delusion around that in order to explain away their cognitive dissonance. Their entire world would collapse around them otherwise.

Being loyal to ANY politician is insane.

[–] [email protected] 54 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (4 children)

I love Bernie. While I don't agree with him on everything, he's consistently been on the moral right side of most issues. Here he is being arrested for protesting segregation in 1963:

However. If he did even 1% of the things Trump did, I would call him out for it, demand he do better, and support his primary challengers if not. Unconditional loyalty to a politician doesn't keep them in check, and actually harms us all...

+1.

Even if someone wholesome (Mamdani?) somehow took over the Democrats, or any cool party, I would never be "loyal" to them.

Maybe this is my old millennial ass shaking my fist, but I don't get why folks are loyal to influencers. Loyalty should be two way and reciprocal, to friends and family one knows personally, not asymmetrically to someone who makes a living from thousands following them.

Respect and admiration? Fine. But this guy's a poster child for why loyalty is too far. After all, what does Trump think of him?

Obvious stupidity aside went to the "non-satirical" r/conservative and even there the temperature looks bad for Trump. I'm actually surprised that there is so much negativity against Trump there now the mods were not able to delete enough comments.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Turns out the possibility that the president is a child rapist is hard to look past.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They looked past that for the last 12 years.

No, I think the media machine is trying to phase trump out, by finally rubbing it in their stupid faces, like a dog's nose rubbed in shit.

Trump has been riling up his fan base and conspiracy theorists since the election. Actually, he has been riling them up since the 2016 election by accusing the dems of all being pedophiles and saying he was going to lock them up. But in the 2024 election, he talked about Epstein specifically quite a few times and led his base to believe he would actually release the Epstein files. Unlike the economy, which you can use various metrics to claim it’s doing good or bad (stock market, grocery prices, etc.) Epstein is a pretty black and white case of “he’s literally a pedophile and was found guilty for doing lots of horrible things.” Everyone, conservatives and liberals, has spent many years rightly hating the guy, but also waiting for everyone he was involved with to also be punished. The maga base was dumb enough to believe that it was only dems and maybe a few unimportant republicans on the list, but they’re out for blood that Trump is refusing to give them, so they’re starting to actually turn on him, a little at least. Trump’s big mistake was thinking that he could use the Epstein files like he’s used everything else so far. In his mind, pedophilia is no different to Hillary’s emails: just a way to rile up his base and use their anger. He assumed that if he stopped talking about it then they would too. He’s so out of touch and evil that he didn’t realize that to the average, non-elite American pedophilia is unforgivable and it’s something conservatives will actually fight against (that’s why republicans accuse trans and gay people and basically anyone they don’t like of being a pedophile: it’s wildly effective)

Thoughts and Prayers

Maybe.. just maybe people shouldn't worship politicians, or anyone rich/famous to begin with. But what do I know, I'm just a simple person who doesn't want to deport/imprison people for the color of their skin or take Medicaid and food away from the poor.

Know when you get the joke a few minutes after everyone else laughed at it and it's pretty embarrassing?

Imagine being a decade behind the curve.

Too bad they didn't get it before November and locking us in for 4 years.

Anyways, I'm glad all those bad things happened to him.

"I lost a job, friendships, been smeared online, doxxed, and pressed charges on people who've stalked and harassed me for supporting him."

The epitome of the leftist hatred that thinks they're justified in ruining a person's life just because of different beliefs, and then the irony of the outcome. Like the site which lists every Tesla owner that harassed and doxxed them until they sold their Teslas.

And all that had to be done was to wait it out. Same people who ridicule the "both sides" approach but know that "both sides" are on the Epstein list.

Left and Right are both corrupt, but we have to vote for the lesser of the two evils every term. What's the point of the declaration of Independence then if we the people can't protect our sovereignty from a tyrannical government lol

That's alright. AOC will be the answer in 2028. Just because she's "not Trump".

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Ruining a person’s life lmao. Nobody is required to be friends with this douche.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (4 children)

It's not that the beliefs are different, it's that the content of the beliefs are abhorrent, backwards, wrong, and/or just plain stupid. I don't mind competing beliefs that are not based on fantasy or are not obvious con jobs or are not obvious lies to protect powerful pedos or obvious red herrings to distract from obvious facts and obvious lies. Why don't you try supplying some of those and see if you don't stop get pissed on from up high while wallowing down low in the gutter with those opinions.

Baffling that THIS is their line.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 3 days ago (4 children)

Not that surprising. Republicans have been painting Democrats as Satanist baby killers for decades. Republicans have also been campaigning on the lie that the Epstein list is all Democrats, Woke Hollywood, and Silicon Valley Tech Bros. To the average brainwashed minion, there is zero reason to hide the client list. They want their righteous lynchings.

Well bye, I guess. Took him 10 years to figure out that voting for the "Punch me in the dick, repeatedly" party wasn't a great idea.

[–] [email protected] 50 points 4 days ago (3 children)

Oh no, he'll still vote Republican

So many leopards eating faces. This is a cult of idiots, the only thing that seems to be pulling them out of the spell is this scandal that would make Watergate pale.

Dude is a piece of shit, and moreso now that hes a scab. If he wanted to feel good he shouldve paid attention when it actually mattered. Fuck em

This is a cult schism. Epstein is the point of cleavage between the grifters and the grifted. The grifters believe in nothing and would of course accept Trump trying to make the list go away because what they care about is keeping the gravy train going. The grifted, though, really believe in a cabal of powerful people molesting children. And however destructive they have been as a political force, they actually want to end what they think is a terrible ongoing crime. They won't just accept it being swept under the rug.
